Good morning competitors

This afternoon is race 4 of the Kingfisher Resort Night series. It is the last race in the series and the results will be released at the prize giving.

Today’s start boat is provided by MBBC.

Start Boat – The Trimaran “Prophecy” (does have AIS)

Today’s Course is the “Amended Race 4”

Start is at East Mud Island west green lateral

Mud Island North Cardinal to starboard – observe the 20m rule at this mark

Mud Island East Cardinal to starboard

Hope Banks to port – observe the 20m rule at this mark and radio time to start boat

M8 to port – please be aware of tide flow at this mark and radio time to start boat

Brisbane Road to port – observe the 20m rule at this mark

West Coffee pot to port – radio time to start boat

Finish Mud Island west green lateral – radio the start boat when approximately .5nm from the finish

PLEASE ENSURE THE SI’s ARE FOLLOWED ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO CROSSING THE SHIPPING CHANNEL.

Moreton Bay Forecast

Wind - South to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots tending 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon

Seas – 1 meter increasing to 1 to 1.5 meters

Weather – partly cloudy

High Tide - 1.9m 20:15
